Not much in the way of new communication from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics on the ultra-controversial new partnership between the Kids Eat Right Foundation and Kraft Singles.
The only new developments are two tweets sent from the @EatRightPRO account:
1) “The #eatrightPRO Boards hear and understand you regarding the Kids Eat Right initiative. A dialogue is underway.”
2) “Our Boards appreciate candor, integrity & concern for consumers’ health, shown by members who both oppose & support KidsEatRight initiative.”
There doesn’t appear to be any sense of urgency. It has been nine days since The New York Times reported on the Kids Eat Right/Kraft Singles collaboration, and almost a week since the #RepealTheSeal petition — which is close to 10,000 signatures — was posted on Change.org.
